Looongg time NO see !! :D

ppl are asking me whether im still participating in any singing competition~~

and the answer is.... YES:D

I am currently participating in one of my school (Singapore Polytechnic) 's

biggest annual singing competition, SP STAR~~ hehe~ :P

and ya~~ this time round~ I NEED SUPPORTERS ~~ :)

so...

The location will be

@Singapore poly Auditorium(Convention Center) Dover MRT

Goody bags will be given(contains...Ricola and~~other things ~haha),

but a compulsory donation of $2 is needed in order to get the tickets.

or you could say~ the ticket is $2 ? :p

This event is open to EVERYONE , not necessary must be SP students.

1, IF you are NOT from SP, You can get your tickets on 19th nov 2010 the day itself

2, IF you are from SP, Tickets are available at FC5, 6, Auditorium area and SDC Foyer every Wednesday and Friday, 1 to 5 pm !

Community Service and Cultural Club is having a SP STAR event on 19 November 2010, 5.30 - 9.30 pm !

SP STAR is a singing competition among the 9 academy schools.

* Come down to support the event and you will receive a goodie bag which contains a lot of discount vouchers like chapter 2, frolick, once upon a milk shake, spectacle hut and many more ! :D

* Refreshment and CCA point would also be given ! :)

Tickets are sold at $2, and total proceeds will be donated to Realm of Tranquility Organisation and Caregiving Welfare Association !

Tickets are available at FC5, 6, Auditorium area and SDC Foyer every Wednesday and Friday, 1 to 5 pm !

上个月~ 我做了人生的一个很大的决定!!! 我去捐血了!!

哈哈哈~开玩笑拉~ 不过~ 这可是我第一次Donate blood 呢!!

说明我~~ 热血沸腾!! 哈哈 :D

对噢~ 讲到热血沸腾 hor ~

我捐血的还是历经波折leh~~ :P

由于我一直体温过高~(higher than 0.1'C only lor)

差点没能捐血成功~~ :P ~~

最终~我决定把手指放进耳朵帮我降温(当时我手超冰的:p )

Finally 我的温度可以被接受了~哈哈哈 (我很聪明吧~haha~)

她就是帮我抽血的护士咯~ 嘿嘿~~ (就是她~suck my blood out!! haha ~ joking la)

we go school early today in order to play basketball before our class start
Actually I don't know that class for today start later than last week.....ya...if i know that, i don't think i would go school so early just to play ball lor~~haha~lol....forgive me, i'am not good at sports..and i really much prefer sleep than exercise..
(* We should keep exercise to keep good health...Children..don't learn this~~LOL)

And..I am the most inactive player lo~
coz... i cannot get the ball...
i don't know how to shot even when i get it.....
i could accidentally pass the ball wrong to other group ppl.....

so... I just stand under the shade and WAIT for the ball to come...LOL

I just came back from Mawai,Malaysia~~~the DPA camp~~
i got sun burn.....
urgh....
Im like~~I found the shampoo i brought is actually a conditioner only at the LAST DAY...OMG~~i was like~~~what the Farmer ~~Man!!!that means i was like ~~i was using the conditioner to wash my hair for two days!!! OMG!!!
i got this sunburn just at the last day also `~~LOL~~

A bit disappointed with my O-level results!!

I was expecting 9 or 10 for L1R4 but I got only 11 for that~

I have nvr expecting my Amath to be A2!!

That was the mean thing which make me feel disappointed~

as for English, I got C6 ! Not good enough but still acceptable~ at least I passed!

Another shocking news was that I got only C6 for Higher Chinese!! Even though I do not really expecting it to be A but~~I was expecting B3 !!

other than that~~ I got B3 for POA !! I was expecting A2 but ...haiz...

overall, only one subject make me feel surprice~ which is Humans! I got A2 for humans !!

I was expecting C6 for this subject !! coz I did not really revise for ss n geo and i did not manage to finish writing during Olevels!!

so...only one thing make me happy but 3 things to make me gloomy ~~

oh ya~~one more thing....the news paper~~

they forgot to take my last year Chinese result and end up say i got 12 points for L1R4 !!!

Happy belated New Year~~haha

i was just arrived Singapore at 5am this morning~~and i didn't sleep for last night~~haha~~

tml i have to go to my future school Singapore Poly to summit my form for the bonding Camp~~~and...have to apply for VISA to Malaysia~~so..tml gonna be busy for me~~hehe

as promise~~ i took a loooooooootttttttt of pictures in China~~haha~~

Beijing was snowing veeeery hard the day before yesterday~~~20cm of snow covered the whole Beijing~haha~~it was super cold but I LOVE SNOW~haha~~

today i really had a nice day (:
tml~no~~i mean later ~haha~i will go back china to visit my relatives in china but ~~i dono why i don really feel excited leh......i think im too tired to get excited liao lor~~just finish moving house~although the new place was still quite messy but at least i can sit and rest~~
and ~~later~i can sit on the plane and rest for 7 hrs~~LOL~~rest until i get bored ..haha~~

today i went to music story for music lesson~~and~~moving house...
omg...tt was really tiring men!!! i never imaging i have soooooo many things to move...
i move from 3rd floor to 2nd floor~~LOL~
sounds funny right~but only one floor enough to make me tired to die alr lor~tt was not my 1st time moving house but...this time is the most tiring~~~
oh ya~~i went to music story both Fang laoshi and an aunty say I am getting FAT!~~~~T_T~~

I got back my report book today. And to my surprise, I get C5, 55 marks for English. I really do hope to maintain the mark for O-levels. Other than English, I get 3 A1s (Elementary Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Chinese), 3A2s (Science, Humanities and Principle Of Accounts) and one B4 for my Higher Chinese. The result made me considered twice whether my decision of going Polytechnic is a wise choice. After much consideration, I did not change my mind. I really think I prefer a more relax life in Polytechnic than a stress one in Junior Collage. Of course only a diploma will not satisfy me so easily. With the advantage of getting a position in the course I want (Applied Chemistry with Pharmaceutical Science) through Direct Poly Admission, I will have the privilege to have a special 8-weeks enrichment program before the school start. As a result, I believe I am able to challenge myself to get into the top 5-10% to get to an university in either Singapore or overseas. I know that is an easy task but I would like to challenge myself. It is because, I am a person who always likes to challenge! Ha-ha

The big 60s: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHINA!!! (:

Just finished watching the China national day celebration online with my family. I just want to say: I AM SO PROUD TO BE A CHINESE!!!

It is the 1^st time I watch the China National Day Celebration overseas. The feeling is so different. I did not feel much when I was in China. Maybe that is because I was too young to understand what is happening. However, I think what made me feel so proud and strong is because I am at overseas. It is the feeling when you see the enormous wealth and meteoric rise in power in your home country in other place.

My hometown –China, celebrated 60 years of Communist rule today with a spectacular display of patriotic zeal and military might designed to showcase its enormous wealth and meteoric rise in power. It was simply magnificent! I felt myself strong! Almost 5,000 soldiers goose-stepped through Tiananmen Square, organized according to their height, their chins held high at matching angles. They marched at exactly 116 paces a minute and were trained to blink only once every 40 seconds.

They were followed by more than 100,000 marching masses and 60 gaudily decorated floats designed to showcase China's achievements. No detail was overlooked. Even the weather, foggy over the last few days, was bright and sunny after the People's Liberation Army (PLA) conducted its largest ever cloud seeding effort to ensure clear skies.

I felt so familiar as Beijing is my home. I remembered I went to the Tian’anMen Square at night with my parents to play roller skate there when I was young. What a nice memory!

I was so lucky!

The story started last week when my IT teacher, Mr. Tony told me he had the new system for Mac and was willing to install it for me for free! I thought to myself, “How lucky could I be, to have such a good teacher in my life!”

I brought my laptop to him the next day, hoping that my computer would soon process as fast as a new one. However, to my dismay, Mr. Tony called me after school and told me that my DVD drive was down. That meant my computer was unable to read DVDs anymore. I was so frustrated! Even after reformatting, I could not install any software into my computer. Now thinking back, perhaps it was because of my little usage of the DVD drive, I did not even realize it was spoilt.

Having no choice, I had to repair it. However, after checking with the Apple Company, I needed to pay at least 500 dollars to get my laptop repaired. This was a price way even more than the worth of a DVD drive and I thus took the advice Mr. Tony gave, asking me to buy an external DVD drive which only cost 100 dollars. Even though it was still not cheap, at least that was much lesser than 500 dollars.

My friend Matthew promised me to help me buy it over the weekend since the store was near his house. Even this was not to be, because of some of his personal reasons. In the end, he did not manage to get it for me during the weekend as promised. (But matt is a NICE guy! it is because we dono the operating hours of the store and never ending remidials~~)

That was when I decided to buy the drive by myself today after school.

With my last ounce of patience, I inserted my Wang LeeHom DVD into my drive, hoping that it would play. Thankfull, to my relief, the DVD played! What a miracle! I simply could not believe my eyes. Oh my goodness, it saved me 100 dollars!

“There can be miracles! When you believe!”

Ps:

I felt the earthquake in Singapore at about 6.15pm!

Finally the air-conditioner was on for my class! My class is the only class, which has the privilege to enjoy air-conditioner!!!!! haha!

Prelim finish le...and the results came out oso~~~

the 1st thing is tat I PASS MY ENGLISH !!!.....But..... C6 just pass only :p

ahhh`~~very wat lehh..... my POA is 69.5% ahhhh is B3

....only 0.5 point to A2 sia..... T_T

tat is not the ONLY one.....

the second one is my HUMANITY ... 69.5% B3 oso!!!!! T_T

however, i didn't study humanities AT ALL sia...

because... Mid-Yr I study humanity like Siao!!!

really ,,, i only sleep 2hr the night before SS n Geo Exam!!!!

and ...i get 45 for that only!!! so...my heart broken.....

den i decide to Give UP my humanity!!!

So.... I get that mark is alr shock me until.....ahh~~

especially SS, I get the 4 position for SS leh(36/50)!!!

What a surprising result!!

the next is ...erm....ohh ya~~~Science!!! I get A2 only ):

This is the 1st time I'm not getting A1 T_T

erm..the rest ...A-math,E-math,Chinese, are A1 as usual....

BUT....the quality is worse then before....

I have been performed on the teacher's day celebration,and i feel happy that i have the chance to perform to all the teachers and students in Deyi again just before i leave the school.....hehe
sounds sad...but it is true....most probably that was the last time i performed for all the Deyians ...as you know i will be graduate this year........hehe

Finally Exam Finished le~~~~

Can say this time was the worst exam i have done .And also the most exhausted exam..

From 7 May 2007 exam start until 15 May 2007 i sleep abt 3hr per day,(Saturday n Sunday also dare not sleep a lot ~~)

The worst was Social Study n A-math paper 1 then Geography and Principle of Accounts~~~(basically everything lah`` )

As you know la,SS has to memorize everything ,I chose Globalization and back up Bonding Singapore ~~(we go collect all different hints from diff classes and finally we predicted that this two chapter will defiantly come out~ )

Whole i study that chapter, i found , wow~~soooo many factors lo~~~ I bought ss assessment book and search for all possible questions may come out from this chapter, memorize important notes our teacher give us......

6May,the day before SS exam, my friends and I we decide to wake up at 4am and do a final revision before go for exam(scientist say after sleep we can only rem 80% of the things we memorize d day before~~~lol). At 1st i want to go home sleep at abt 10pm and wake up 4am so that i can sleep 6hr. However, i go to bad at 10pm bt cannot sleep leh~~~I 翻来翻去 until 11pm den decide to study instead of wasting time ~~~ I chiong until 2am den go sleep yi xia den wake up again at 4am~~~ wow~~cool right~~ i didn't feel sleepy during exam and d chapter came out as what we has expected ~~however~~our teacher was not that kind also....I saw a question i never expect it to come out at part 2~~~(deforestation is the most destructive impact in the environment impact,do you agree? explain your answer. ) I only saw once in d assessment book and assume that it wont come out as i cannot find answer in d notes out dear teacher gave us~~~~ Bt,at least i did read the passage in my assessment book and have a light impression of it~~sooo....I just write what i remember and plus a lot evidence i learnt in Geog~~lol~~

as what i expected ,that question killed a lot of students ,they thus choose Bonding S'pore ,the one they use to back up~~~

The next day was A-math paper 1~~ (in case u don know...my A-math used to be quite pro~~lol~~) I know i have missed a lot lessons and sleep a lot during lessons the days before(yah~~the enjoyable abt tiring competition~` (: ) I get a lot of very weird answers during exam and i have not enough time to finish d paper~~~~T_T ~~ the worst~~ I went home and really sad sia~~~hai~~~

okay~next one is Emath and Geog~~~E-math ....I finished abt 3 paper during weekend and memorize geog also~~I cannot remember geog like SS alr...I feel my memory is going to full alr..lol
